Zhuric Phelps signs with the Mavericks

Former Texas A&M men's basketball guard Zhuric Phelps agreed to an NBA Summer League deal with the Dallas Mavericks, A&M announced Monday. Phelps did not get picked in the two-round 2025 NBA Draft last week.

With the Mavericks, Phelps is set to play four Summer League games in Las Vegas next month: Los Angeles Lakers (7 p.m. on July 10), San Antonio Spurs (3 p.m. on July 12), Charlotte Hornets (5:30 p.m. on July 14) and Philadelphia 76ers (7 p.m. on July 16).

Texas Impact 4:13 CEO and Head coach was named to as one of the 66 most impactful people in mens college basketball. Coach TJ and Texas Impact 4:13 have helped 150+ student athletes become Division 1,2 and 3 athletes. Coach TJ was also named the 2025 UAA coach of the year, BCA 2025 coach of the year and one of the top 80 next up coaches in america.
